Pilates

Pilates is a physical fitness system developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates (after whom it was named). Joseph called his method "Contrology".

Joseph mentions that Contrology is a fitness system that encourages blood cleaning and helps to work and cleanse the lymphatic system

(PILATES' Return to Life Through Contrology, 2010). Pilates targets the powerhouse muscles, which include the glutes, hips and lower back.

My class style will be a blend of Contrology and contemporary Pilates and suitable for all levels of fitness. Have fun :)
